I started Garden State Renovations from observing a real need in New Jersey for quality and affordable home renovations. I had been working in construction my whole life and was a new homeowner in New Jersey at the time. I loved my new property but wanted to add custom touches to each room, including adding crown moldings, switching from carpet to wood floors, painting my new son's bedroom and adding new pavers outside, and a large and functional deck overlooking the backyard. I also planned to remodel the kitchen and bathrooms.
It was then that I sought to create a team of professional contractors to help me with all of my handy projects. I wanted to work with contractors who had years of experience in the business, who could keep labor costs down and stick to a timeline. I had a tough time finding a professional who had expertise in all of these areas and was really stumped. I also wanted a professional I could bounce ideas off of. Did the tiles I chose for the bathroom have to match the wallpaper? And how durable were they? Was there a generic or cheaper or option? What about the kids playroom, what kind of flooring options did I have?
It was those questions and dozens more that helped me form and operate Garden State Renovations, the #1 New Jersey renovation, home improvement and remodeling company in the state. My background in construction helped me assemble a team of professional contractors, including plumbers, carpenters, and electricians, that can handle any job and that have been trained and carefully vetted for their professionalism and handiness.

I've been a licensed and certified contractor in New Jersey since 1998, having started my career in Monmouth County and expanding it to other counties in New Jersey. With over 22 years of experience in the construction and contracting business and 1,500 projects under my belt, as well as an in-house skilled team of professionals working closely with me, I have the expertise needed to help with all of your renovation, remodeling and home improvement projects.
